Bearded Lady Co.

Welcome to Bearded Lady Co. My name is Elizabeth Beard and I am the crafter/ owner of Bearded Lady Co. The name of our shop comes from both my last name and that I am the lady of the house. My kids teased me by calling me Lady birth giver when I got our Lord and Lady of the house certificate so why not name the business after both my ladyship and my awesome last name.

My husband and I started this business when we were both serving in the Army. I have since medically retired and now follow my heart in crafting and school while my husband continues to serve our beautiful country.

Crafting became my escape from life stressors. It helped me copy by meditating through activity. I have shared that meditation and crafting with my husband and he has loved learning all the crafts I have learned over the years.

I enjoy teaching others crafts and helping others learn how to work cameras, wax and and yarn. I was a girl scout leader for many years and taught them everything I was able to. Beyond scouting and teaching my scouts, my kids have carried on the love of art in many facets of life. It is something our household enjoys together
